UPC Broadband Slovakia was the first company in Slovakia to programmatically buy ad space on HbbTV together with an interactive ad app for a campaign.
The objective of the campaign called “3 months of free Internet” was to attract potential customers directly through TV. Thanks to HbbTV, the company was able to expand the reach of their online campaign to an additional screen, which in this case was TV. The ad format used was the TV Banner. Two versions were run for the purpose of A/B testing.
