R2B2 partners with iBILLBOARD in the battle for advertising

After more than a year on the Czech market, R2B2 has expanded its partnership with Internet BillBoard a.s. to collaborate on AAGun (Anti-Adblock Gun), R2B2’s weapon against ad blocking.

They are strategically combining their advantages in technology and business. “iBILLBOARD has a long history in the Czech Republic and is a trusted partner across a large spectrum of web projects. The integration of our AAGun with iBILLBOARD contributes to the advertising battle on the side of the media, which is also our side,” describes Kamil Foltin, CTO of R2B2, regarding the benefits of their cooperation.

iBILLBOARD Sales Director Tomáš Horák comments on the new aspect of their partnership as follows: “We have been helping the Czech media with their difficult Internet advertising struggle for more than 18 years. The integration of AAGun gives the media more ad space, and thus more money for their further development.”

R2B2 and the technology company Webgarden have been fighting ad blockers for a long time. “For the past six months we have successfully displayed ads on an important Czech portal, even when adblock was installed,” adds Kamil Foltin. In addition to AAGun, R2B2 is dedicated to the research, development, and implementation of programmatics and automation. It operates the largest Czech programmatic video inventory, provides solutions for programmatic website branding, offers a high visibility 5:2 programmatic mobile ad format, and is one of the first in the world to have successfully launched a programmatic advertising campaign on television.
